GIS/Mapping/CAD

Onsite Constraints MapTNEI offers comprehensive GIS and mapping services. GIS is one of the leading tools in identifying and assessing potential renewable energy sites and influencing site design.

GIS offers significant benefits over traditional methods as rapid searches of large areas can be undertaken using datasets that are continuously updated.

Once a potential site has been identified and development has progressed, TNEI uses GIS to define on-site and near site constraints to optimise site design.

Constraint mapping is a key aspect of project design with the results of technical investigations during the consenting process being used to determine the most appropriate scheme for a particular site.

TNEI is proficient in AutoCAD and can fully integrate GIS and CAD datasets to provide comprehensive mapping services. This can used to inform the site design process and produce a range of plans for use in planning applications.
